🌀 A Positive First Step 🌀
People often ask me, “What is the purpose of therapy?” I believe there are a few answers to that question.
First, you come to therapy to defrost grief, unexpressed rage and other negative feelings, e.g. traumas, losses, betrayals. You also learn to re-parent yourself.
Second, you come to have a better transition in your work or love life, or to improve your performance and personal relations.
Finally, you get to share your dreams and goals in a safe environment, with no judgment, and to produce amazing action plans to manifest your best life ever…
Your First Visit
This initial session allows us to get to know each other, explore your goals and challenges, and begin laying the foundation for the work ahead. I understand that taking this step can be both exciting and daunting, but please know that I am here to provide you with a safe, supportive, and welcoming space. I am committed to creating a safe and non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and feelings.
Telehealth Services
Accessing Therapy From the Comfort of Your Home
With video conferencing platforms like Zoom, FaceTime, Google Meet, and WhatsApp, you can connect with me wherever you are. With telehealth services, you can access the same high-quality therapy I provide in person. I strive to create a warm and welcoming virtual environment that allows you to feel safe and supported, even from a distance. Let’s work together to help you achieve your goals and overcome life’s challenges, no matter where you are.
Consulting Fees
I can help you to understand how your insurance can help with the cost of treatment––even though I am an out-of-network provider (no copayments can be used). Many go beyond their network to find the expertise and “the availability” that they need, and deserve. To learn how this can work, first review the Insurance & Fees section below, which has useful FAQs. Then complete the Contact Form so we can begin the conversation. (please know that this is a No-Spam zone. Your email will not be added to any mailing lists unless you request it.)
Â
Initial Individual Consultation | $250.00 |
Ongoing Individual Therapy sessions (45-50 Minutes) | $180.00 |
Initial Couples’ or Family Consultation | $275.00 |
Ongoing Couples’ or Family/Group Consultation (60 minutes) | $210.00 |
Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills (DBT) If the DBT curriculum cannot be incorporated into a standard 45 minute session, we will need the extra time to learn the skills. Each person is different – some can process their feelings and learn DBT in a shorter session, but some need more time. It usually becomes clear after a few sessions if we can’t end at the 45 minute marker and/or go over 60 minutes trying to complete the work. You will always have the option to end at 45 minutes or continue for 60 minutes. |
$180.00 – $235.00 |
DBT Skills Groups (90 Minutes) | $75.00/week |
DBT Skills Groups (14-week semester) | $1,300.00/semester |
Insurance and Fees
As an Out of Network (OON) provider, you are responsible for paying for your sessions at the time of service. However, if your insurance plan offers an OON benefit, you may be able to get reimbursed for a portion of your expenses. I am happy to provide support and guidance with the reimbursement process.
